The 90-Day Fiance star Juliana is a reality TV star and a model who rose to fame by being part of the 7th season of the 90 Day Fiance reality TV show. The show is an American show that airs on TLC which follows the lives of couples. These couples are willing participants of the show who applied for or received a K-1 visa. The TV show tells a story of a lot of couples’ journeys through preparing for their big day at the end of a 90-days period.

The show saw her struggle with getting her American visa and coming over to meet and marry the love of her life, Michael Jessen.

Juliana Custodio de Sousa is a Brazilian model who was born in Goiania, Brazil. The model was born on the 5th of September in the 1990s and hails from a very humble background.  As a result of this, Juliana had to start fending for herself at a very young age.

The young woman’s rise to fame came as a result of her relationship and subsequent involvement in the American reality TV show. She has however remained in the news for some new headline.

10. She Was Called A Fraud By Her Ex-husband

Juliana, the 90 Day Fiancé star was called a scam after news of her pregnancy with her new boyfriend made a news headline. Her ex-husband referred to her like this when fans reached out to both of them to find out why they had no kids together.

There were speculations that they probably fell apart because Michael did not want kids. However, the businessman clarified the rumors and stated that he actually did and that they tried to. He then went ahead to clarify other accusations from the model. He stated that she did not cater to him and his family during the pandemic as she claimed.

9. She Got Pregnant For Another Man

A month after her split from ex-husband Michael, Juliana revealed a new boyfriend who is recognized as Benjamin Obscura. Ben is a Portuguese Art enthusiast who lives in Hamburg, Germany. The multi-lingual new boyfriend of the reality star doesn’t give off much about himself on social media though.

Ben was however the first to announce, through an Instagram post that he was expecting a child with the Brazilian model, Juliana. In response to his post, Juliana confirmed the story with photos of her hugging and kissing the Portuguese beau and went on to gush over him.

A ‘Covid-19 casualty’ their split was referred to. The season 7 participants of the 90 Day Fiance reality TV show announced the end of their 2 years marriage on their second wedding anniversary on the 12th of October 2021.

While Michael Jessen pointed fingers at the Covid-19 pandemic being the cause of their break-up, Juliana had deeper reasons. The Brazilian claimed she wasn’t being treated as well as she thought she would. She also cited more issues that stemmed from her relationship with Michael and his family.

It will be recalled that Juliana and her husband (now ex) were quarantined with Michael’s ex-wife and kids in the United States. It seems that during this period, a lot was revealed and couldn’t be accepted.

Michael made a claim that Juliana had moved on with a new man but she quickly refuted the claim. She stated that their split had nothing to do with a new love interest but was for her own happiness.

Although the American businessman seemed to be sorry about their split, Juliana isn’t and swiftly moved on with her life. She even deleted posts of both of them from her social media handles and is enjoying her life now.

This relationship was so close to the extent that Mike’s ex-wife officiated the wedding between the 90 Days couple. Max, Mike’s son even gave a heartwarming speech at the occasion.

In addition to this, Juliana implored TLC fans and followers of the show to stop harassing her former step-daughter. She made a TikTok video urging users of the app to stop asking Cece questions about her split from the young girl’s dad.

5. She Almost Did Not Get Married To Michael

Juliana and Michael’s marriage almost did not happen. The couple fought a lot to get Juliana’s visa approved for a long period of time. Juliana first applied for a tourist visa to the United State which got declined. This decline frustrated the businessman who at that point had realized that he direly needed to spend his life with Juliana.

Next up, Michael applied to get her a K-1 visa. If she had gotten her visa declined again, she wouldn’t have made it to the States for her wedding and it would have been a very heartbreaking situation. Luckily, she got a work permit and was able to move over to the United States.

4. She And Her 90 Day Fiance Husband Met On A Yacht

Michael Jessen is known as a businessman who is into the wine business and is wont to travel a lot. During one of his travels, he met the beautiful model, Juliana. The couple met at a party in Croatia on a yacht. The party was organized by a friend of Michael and as soon as he met Juliana, they hit things off.

Although Michael wasn’t one to believe in ‘love at first sight’ his bond with Juliana felt different. Juliana on the other hand believed she instantaneously fell in love with the businessman. They soon became inseparable and began the process to get her over to the United States of America and get married.

The native of Goiania was born into a very humble and struggling family. She had to start working at a very tender age in order to provide for herself and her family. Ms. Custodio began to work for a sweatshop where she was exploited and abused.

Juliana Custodio was married off to a 34-year old man at the age of 17. Although the marriage was short, Juliana recalled that she had met the man through a pastor in a very restricted church where she lived.
