Darvet Brown Shooting; 35 Years Old Woman Darvet Brown Fatally Shot By California Police
Law enforcement officials in California shot and killed a woman on Sunday after she disregarded several requests to lower a gun that she was pointing at the head of a child who was three years old, according to the authorities.
The reason that Darvet Brown, 35, entered the house of a family in San Bernardino while armed with a handgun has not been identified by the authorities.
According to a press release issued by the San Bernardino Police Department, the grandmother of the child, who was in a state of distress, immediately phoned the police to the apartment at approximately eight o’clock in the morning.
She informed the authorities that Brown had already discharged the firearm inside the residence.
When the police came, Brown moved onto the balcony of the apartment, pointed a gun at an officer, and then withdrew into the flat where the child was located, locking the door, according to the police.
When an officer kicked the door open, Brown was standing on a bed in the living room with a revolver pointing directly at the youngster who was sat on the bed. The scene was taken on a police body camera after the officer kicked the door open.
At that precise moment, the news release stated that the infant was sobbing and that there was an immediate risk that they would be shot.
At that moment, the officers opened fire with multiple bullets on the suspect. Despite being injured and being instructed to drop her weapon, Brown allegedly continued to hold the gun in her hand, according to the police.
Repeated shots were fired at Brown by the officers, who then went to seize the youngster. After being returned to family members outside, the youngster was found to be unharmed.
According to the news release issued by the police, “there was medical assistance provided to the suspect; however, she ultimately succumbed to her injuries at the residence.”
Brown was not linked to the child, according to the findings of the police investigation. The city of San Bernardino is where she calls home.

“Yes, I was apprehensive. Obviously, who wouldn’t be? of course. Jack Quiroz has stated to KNBC. When I went outside, I saw a large number of law enforcement officers scattered around the area. Initially, I heard the helicopter, and then I heard gunfire.
The police have stated that they are conducting an investigation into the incident, and they are requesting that members of the public who have information to get in touch with them.
