Irene is a South Korean pop singer, dancer and actress. She is best known as the leader of the K-pop girl group Red Velvet, with whom she has released numerous hit singles including "Dumb Dumb," "Bad Boy" and "Russian Roulette". She has also had successful solo projects such as her mini-album Monster.
