The 27-years-of-age soccer player was born as Kealia Mae Ohai on 31 January 1992 in Draper, Utah. She is the second daughter of her parents, Ben Ohai and Cindy Ohai. Kealia’s elder sister, Megan Cushing, is a former youth national team member who won the 2007 NCAA championship playing soccer at the University of Southern California.
Standing tall at an average height of 5 feet and 5 inches (1.65 m), Kealia graduated from Alta High School in 2010. Later on, she earned her higher degree from the University of North Carolina.
Career, Salary
Kealia developed a tremendous interest in soccer since her high school days. She led her school team to four straight state soccer championships from 2006 to 2009. Subsequently, she enjoyed a blistering college career where she also became a member of the 2012 championship-winning team.
Kealia commenced her club career after Houston Dash selected her as the second overall pick in the 2014 NWSL College Draft. Following a fantastic performance of 11 goals from 10 games, she was handed a captain’s armband midway through the 2016 season. Kealia had an injury-daunting 2017 season but came back strong in 2018.
