Lil Durk Was Only 16 When He Was Linked To Nicole Covone

Born Durk Derrick Banks in 1992, Lil Durk started his relationship with Nicole when he was still a teenager of only 16 years old while she was 18. The pair were first linked to each other in 2008. Details surrounding how they met and started dating were never made clear but they seemed to be very much in love that not long afterward, they decided to get married.

When they started dating, Banks had already started pursuing his career as an entertainer but he was still yet to get any serious acknowledgment or fame.

By 2011, the fame had started building up for Lil Durk. In that year, he welcomed his first child with Nicole, a son whom they named Angelo Banks. The rapper was 19 years old when he had his son. The young couple was keen on expanding their family and on 20 July 2013, they had another child, this time a daughter named Bella Banks.

Their Marriage Came To An End In 2013

5 years after their marriage and two kids between them, Nicole Covone and Lil Durk decided to end their marriage in 2013. That year was a very difficult one for the entrepreneur as it also happened to be the same year that she lost her mother, Diana M Covone, who died on October 6.

The reason for the divorce was said to be the cheating ways of her then-husband, Lil Durk who allegedly had affairs with other women. Nicole has never come out to make any statement about the end of the marriage, maintaining that she always keeps her business to herself.

The only time that she took a shot at the rapper was when he made a post one night, stating that he was going to take all his kids from his baby mamas and raise them in his mansion. Covone came for him stating that although he was a great dad to their two kids together, he knew what he was saying would not fly hence e should stop the foolery.
