Silvia Derbez Was Married for 27 Years
When Silvia, the daughter of Luz Amézquita and Marcel Derbez was 27 in 1959, she became married to Eugenio González Salas.
Her then-husband was a publicist. They were married for 27 years until his death in 1989 when the Mexican actress was 52 years old.
At the same she lost her husband and father of her 2 children, Derbez also landed a career-high with a role in Simplemente Maria – a telenovela that was produced by Valentin Pimstein and became one of the most famous in the Latin American community and other Hispanic countries.
