Composer Ashley Fure talks about her music and about working with students in an interview with Interlochen Public Radio.

The world premiere of a work for orchestra and electronics by Fure will be featured in Young American Composers, a concert by the Interlochen Arts Academy Orchestra in June at David Geffen Hall in New York City. The piece, Bound to the Bow, was commissioned for the 2016 New York Philharmonic Biennial celebration.

“I make really quite rich, sculpted noise,” says Fure, an assistant professor of music and an alumna of the Interlochen Arts Academy high school.
