Kai Morae (born 5 December 1989, Age: 33 years old) is a model, actress, and entrepreneur who is best known as the daughter of LisaRaye McCoy, a famous actress, fashion designer, and former first lady of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Kai was born as Kaienja Morae Pace on December 5, 1989, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. She is the only child of LisaRaye McCoy and her ex-boyfriend Kenji Pace, who dated from 1988 to 1990. Kai has a mixed ethnic background of African American and Native American.
She is the paternal half-sister of rapper Da Brat, who is LisaRaye’s half-sister from their father’s side. Morae’s grandparents are Katie McCoy and David Ray McCoy, a Chicago businessman who was murdered in 1988.
Kai Morae grew up in a loving and supportive environment with her mother and grandmother. She attended St. James College Prep School, Kenwood Academy, and Thornridge High School in Chicago. She later graduated from the Academy of Scholastic Achievement, a charter school for at-risk students.
