Thomas Sanders is an American-based singer, actor, scriptwriter, and internet personality. He came to fame through Vine and YouTube in 2013. In 2017, after the Vine shutdown, he continued releasing videos across various social media sites. Thomas generally creates long videos on YouTube and simultaneously posts shorter videos in the Vine style to Instagram, TikTok, Tumblr, and Twitter. His content consists of pranks, comedy sketches, singing, civil rights activism, and stories.
Thomas became popular on the Vine from his series Narrating People’s Lives and Storytime for the “Disney Pranks with friends”; on YouTube for the Sanders Sides. He has won one Streamy Award and two Shorty Awards for best Viner and YouTube comedian. In addition, he has been nominated for a Teen Choice Award for “Choice Viner.” Thomas has received three Golden Apple Awards from the Gainesville Community Playhouse; one is for his cast in “Hot Mikado” (2007), another one for “The Producers” (2010), and the last one for “Anything Goes” (2011).
In 2013, Thomas released one EP; in 2016 one album and several singles since 2017 till date. He started his career in musical theatre in his hometown in Florida when he was a teenager, and Thomas has performed since 2006 in Gainesville (Florida), Orlando, and many more.
In 2017, Thomas made a guest appearance on the show Bizaardvark on the Disney Channel and co-hosted a special episode show Walk the Prank alongside David Lopez of Disney XD.

Thomas was born on 24th April 1989. He was raised in Gainesville, Florida, and currently resides there. His ancestors on his mother’s side belonged to Ireland.
Thomas took his first steps towards singing and acting in middle school; he sang in several choruses and appeared in several school plays. During his high-school days, Thomas started doing his initial roles in musical plays. Later, he combined his university studies with community theater by joining the Gainesville Community Playhouse (from 2006 to 2015). Further, after graduating in 2011, Thomas started working as a manufacturing engineer at a pharmaceutical development company (Alachua) during the day. He did a job in the theater during the night. This routine was until Thomas became successful on Vine, and he left the job to focus on Vine and theater.
