With more winter weather on the way, local governments across Northern Nevada and California are getting their snowplow fleets ready. Here’s a list of areas that post live or static maps to show what order streets will be plowed:

Reno

New this season, the City of Reno has a live map of where city snowplows are, and what streets they plan to plow next. Visit their Snow and Ice Control page here, and scroll halfway down to find the map.

Washoe County

Washoe County manages snow plows in Incline Village and unincorporated areas. Visit their snow plow page here to see and interactive map of plows and where streets around you fall on the plow priority list.

Carson City

Find Carson City’s map of snow plow routes here. This is not a live map, so it does not show where snowplows are currently active, but it does show the order streets will be plowed.

Fernley

Visit the City of Fernley Snow and Ice Removal page here. It includes a link to a PDF map that shows what order streets will be plowed and a description of Fernley plowing procedures.

Town of Truckee

Find a live snowplow activity tracker for Truckee here. It shows what streets have recently been plowed and has a link to submit snow removal requests.

City of South Lake Tahoe
