Ibrahim Ravuthar was a veteran Tamil film producer who was known for his association with actor-turned-politician Vijayakanth. He produced several hit films starring Vijayakanth, such as Uzhavan Magan, Rajadurai, and Thennavan. He also launched the careers of many directors, actors, and technicians in the Tamil film industry. He passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 63, due to a cardiac arrest.

Ibrahim Ravuthar was born in 1952 (age: 63 years, when died) in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He belonged to a Muslim family and had a keen interest in films since his childhood. He started his career as a distributor and exhibitor of Tamil films in Madurai and nearby areas. He was a close friend of actor Vijayakanth, who was also from Madurai. He decided to venture into film production and formed his own banner, A.S. Films, named after his father.
