To honor and celebrate Bill’s life, his family has arranged a homegoing service at New Central Baptist Church, located at 700 Walker Ave, Norfolk, VA 23523. The service will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 11 a.m. This will be an opportunity for friends, family, and community members to come together, share their memories, and pay their respects to a man who made a significant impact on all of our lives. A viewing will also be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Metropolitan Funeral Services, located at 7246 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505. This will provide an additional opportunity for those who wish to bid their farewell. In light of Bill’s passing and the scheduled homegoing service, the 5th Annual Kickball for Cancer tournament, originally planned for October 7th, has been canceled. We understand the importance of coming together in times of grief, and this decision was made to allow all of us to attend the service and support Bill’s family.
